Jennifer Sowders Fine Art

"While the grandeur of nature is often portrayed in bold vistas, it can also be conveyed in a more intimate presentation. Brecksville Ridge  draws us into the scene with intriguing texture and fleeting light and shadow. Rather than experiencing this scene from afar, we are immersed in it. We are transported from impartial observation to being present in the moment."  -  JOHN SALMINEN, JUROR Artists Magazine, 40th Annual (on Jennifer's 2nd place piece above)

Featuring the Artwork of Jennifer Sowders... MON Gallery & Art Studio got it's unique name that really stands for "Middle Of Nowhere", because IT IS!  While many artists have studios in the city, Jennifer prefers the inspiration of her rural location and so the studio and gallery of her work are a destination to enjoy.

Her studio and gallery-space (at: 1034 Township Rd. 293, Fostoria, OH 44830) is Open to the Public on MONdays from 9AM - 6PM & by appointment otherwise (cell) : 567.245.1179

(Please be advised there are stairs that go down into the gallery which may pose difficulty for those with mobility issues.)

"While her paintings fall into the realm of realism, they exude a sense of free-flowing abstraction as well.” - International Artist Magazine

“This artist has been in this woodland and it shows. I was amazed that the piece has a lot of rendering, but it’s done so well. I was surprised by how accurate it is without being overdone. It’s a beautiful example of using acrylic in a powerful yet sensitive way—and it’s outstanding.”
