"Sweet Spot" 16"X20" oil on canvas (framed, add approx. 6")
This is a self-portrait of one of my favorite places to be... out on the hammock. I had my husband snap the picture to insert myself, but the rest of the painting I created en plein air from the porch. As I relax in my 'sweet spot', birds are often playfully darting around me so I thought it would be fun to "what if?" What if one landed on my knee to enjoy life with me?
