"Lily Pond" - watercolor - 18"x26" - (unframed)
Inspired from a get-together in Mansfield, OH at a friends property that included this gorgeous scene. The depth of grasses at the waters-edge, the lily pads and then the beautiful sky reflected upon the water balancing out all of the busy-ness. It kind of echoed our time there.
This was painted on a gesso-coated paper, which behaves more like a Yupo with 'tooth'. It is sealed with a UV spray.
